Lúmenfold
Where Light Becomes Form
A Series Shaped by Light
Lúmenfold is a series of sculpted wood works that explore how light defines form.
Instead of adding material, these works are created by removing material — carving into solid wood to allow light and shadow to create the final image. The form is not only the wood itself, but the light that moves across it.

As the day changes, the work changes.
Morning light reveals different contours than evening light. Shadows shift across the carved surface, and depth becomes visible in different ways over time.
The piece is never completely static — it exists somewhere between object, surface, and light.
Digital Precision, Hand-Finished Character

Each piece in the Lúmenfold series begins with digital carving to establish the geometry, followed by hand-finishing to refine the surface and soften the transitions between planes.
This combination of digital precision and hand work allows each piece to retain subtle individuality while preserving the clarity of the overall form.

Lúmenfold is an exploration of quiet movement, material, and light.
It is not only about the object itself, but about how form continues to change through shadow, time, and perception.
